Troop 948 is based in Pleasanton, California. We are part of the Twin Valley District in the San Francisco Bay Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We are chartered by Centerpointe Presbyterian Church. See the Calendar page for our meeting times and directions.

Fund raisers

Our troop raises funds for its scouts through various activities, including Christmas wreath sales and See's spring candy sales. Part of the money that each scout raises goes toward general troop expenses (e.g., campsite fees, awards, equipment) and another part goes into an accout to offset his individual scout expenses (e.g., activity fees, scout-related equipment, summer camp fees). The fund-raising committee is always looking for volunteers and new ideas. If you are interested in participating, please contact a member of the committee.
